What's New in TellDone 1.4

See what your voice changed, and undo it. Every note, task, and event now keeps a change history, so your voice is an editor you can trust, not just a recorder.

See what changed, and undo it

Every edit is tracked, whether the AI made it or you did. Open the history on any note, task, or event to see what changed and when, and undo any single change with one tap. Your voice is now an editor you can trust, not a black box.

Fix things by voice

Record a follow-up and TellDone updates the original note, task, or event. Say “move that to Friday” and the deadline moves; say “make it high priority” and it does. TellDone understands follow-ups on titles, summaries, deadlines, priorities, tags, and status, so you fix things the way you captured them: by talking. Most voice apps leave your follow-up as a separate note to reconcile later. TellDone folds it back into the original, so you keep one clean item instead of a pile of notes.

See how confident the AI is

Extracted tasks and events now show how confident the AI is and the exact words behind them. Spot a miss at a glance, then fix it by voice or by tap.

Meeting transcripts with speaker labels

Recordings with several speakers are detected automatically and transcribed with labels like Speaker 1 and Speaker 2, so you can follow who said what. TellDone captures only what you record: no bot ever joins your calls.

Choose your summary style

In Settings, pick how TellDone writes your summaries: terse, balanced, or verbatim. New recordings follow your choice.

Sign in with Google

Google now joins Apple and email as a way to sign in, on the web and on iPhone.

Smarter reminders

Mark a task Done or snooze it right from the notification, set several reminder times on one task, and get a heads-up push on the morning a deadline is due. Repeats can now run hourly. That's the floor — ask for anything shorter and TellDone widens it to an hour and says so in your in-app Inbox.

Reports in the language you speak

Your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports now arrive fully in your content language, from the headings to the narrative to the email.

Microsoft To Do sync

Connect your personal Microsoft To Do in Settings and tasks travel both ways. What you dictate lands in a dedicated TellDone list, and checking it off there checks it off here. Available on Basic and up, where it shares an integration slot with Todoist and Notion.

Connect AI assistants (Pro+)

Connect AI assistants to your TellDone data over a secure OAuth connection, then see and revoke connected apps in Settings. Available on Pro and Ultra.

Five more interface languages

Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Slovenian, and Romanian join the app, so the interface and the Siri voice commands now speak 20 languages. Transcription still covers 60+.

And a few smaller things

An Urgent view gathers your overdue tasks, with a swipe to reschedule. Archive a task with a swipe and restore anything from the Activity center. Long press any change to see the full before and after. A tappable card appears the moment a note is ready. Redeem promo codes in Settings. Links to your notes, tasks, and events open straight in the app. Plus a cleaner notification style, accessibility improvements, and edits that now sync out to Apple Calendar, Reminders, Google Tasks, Todoist, and Notion, not just new items. And many fixes.

Previously: TellDone 1.3

The biggest TellDone update yet. Recording is still one tap. What changed is how easily you organize, edit, and review everything after.

Recurring tasks and reminders

Say “remind me to pay rent every month” and TellDone builds a repeating task with a real schedule: every few days, weeks, months, or years, on the weekdays you choose, ending never, on a date, or after a set number of times. You see it in plain language, like “Every 2 weeks on Mon, Wed,” with a preview of when the next one lands. Check off a repeat and only that occurrence is done. The next comes back on its own. Add as many reminder times to a task as you need. Events repeat the same way.

Edit anything in place

Tap any field on a note, task, or event: a title, summary, priority, deadline, or tags; an event's time, place, and guests; a repeat schedule or its reminders. It saves on its own. No edit mode, no Save button, and every change has a quick Undo. Your original transcript stays untouched as the record, so editing sharpens the details without rewriting your words. Prefer to talk? Record a follow-up and TellDone updates everything for you.

Import audio you already have

On iPhone, share an audio file into TellDone from Voice Memos, Files, Mail, or Messages (up to 100 MB). On the web, upload one at app.telldone.app. Either way, it comes back as notes, tasks, and events. Your plan sets how long each recording can be: 5 minutes on Free, 10 on Basic, 60 on Pro, 90 on Ultra.

Voice Support, right in the app

Reach support without leaving TellDone, on iPhone or the web app. Record a voice message (up to 5 minutes) or type a note in Settings → Contact Support, pick a topic or leave it automatic, and replies land in your in-app Inbox. Email is always available too.

Also in this release: record up to 60 minutes on Apple Watch, faster sync that keeps working offline, smoother playback for hour-long recordings, an interface in 15 languages, and dozens of fixes across recording, search, integrations, and notifications.
