When contacting support, please include: your email address associated with the account, the device and OS version, and a description of the issue.

In the app: reach support right inside TellDone — on iPhone or the web app — by recording a voice message (up to 5 minutes) or typing a note: Settings → Contact Support. Pick a topic — billing, a bug, a feature request, or your account — or leave it automatic, and replies land in your in-app Inbox. Email is always available too.

Open the app and tap the microphone button. You can also use one-tap recording from the Action Button (iPhone 15 Pro+), Control Center (iOS 18+), Dynamic Island, or Lock Screen. Speak naturally. Mix tasks, events, and ideas in one recording.
On iPhone, share an audio file into TellDone from Voice Memos, Files, Mail, or Messages (up to 100 MB). On the web, upload one at app.telldone.app. Either way, it comes back as notes, tasks, and events. Your plan sets how long each recording can be — 5 minutes on Free, 10 on Basic, 60 on Pro, 90 on Ultra.
Recording works without internet. Your audio is saved locally and queued for upload. When you reconnect, it syncs automatically and gets processed. You never lose a recording due to poor connectivity.
Go to Settings > Integrations. Todoist and Notion connect with one-tap secure sign-in. For Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, and Things 3, the app uses native iOS APIs — just enable them in Settings.
AI analysis is not perfect. If something needs correcting, record a follow-up — TellDone updates the existing note, tasks, and events automatically. You can also edit tasks directly in your connected task manager (Todoist, Things, Reminders). Speaking clearly and providing specific details (dates, names, priorities) helps the AI produce better results.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to your iPhone's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Go to Settings > Privacy > Export Data. We'll generate a ZIP file containing all your notes, tasks, events (in JSON format) and audio recordings. You'll receive a download link that's valid for 48 hours. Data export is available on all plans, including Free.
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. We'll send a confirmation email; click the link to schedule deletion. You then have a 7-day grace period to change your mind. No human review is required. After the grace period, all your data is permanently deleted.
We support 60+ languages via our speech-to-text engine. You can set your preferred transcription language in Settings > Language. The app also handles multilingual input. You can switch languages mid-sentence.
Reports are generated automatically: daily (every midnight in your timezone), weekly (after Sunday), monthly (1st of the month), and yearly (January 1st). Each report summarizes your activity: completed tasks, new notes, upcoming events, patterns, and AI insights. Reports can also be delivered to your email (configure in Settings). Available on Basic (daily only) and Pro/Ultra (all types).
Smart Context is available on Basic, Pro, and Ultra plans. It connects your new voice notes to existing tasks — say "bought groceries" and the matching task is checked off automatically. Up to 3 tasks can be auto-completed per recording (at 85%+ confidence). You'll see auto-completed tasks in the note results.

Reliability

TellDone is monitored around the clock. If something breaks, contact support and a real person will help you sort it out.
